How to Get a Good Quality Sleep

Adults need approximately 8-10 hours to sleep. A good quality sleep is the main requirement to stay healthy. During sleep, blood pressure is getting low, body repair system works more quickly and efficiently. In addition, the natural drainage system of the body such as liver, kidney, and blood circulation can work without have to process additional toxins from the air or from the food that we eat.

To make sure you get a quality sleep, try the following steps:
* Do a good sleep habits. Sleep and wake up at the same time every day.

* Eat your last meal at least 3 hours before bedtime. You can eat a healthy snack before bed, if necessary.

* Avoid consuming stimuli in the afternoon, such as tea, coffee and alcohol. Drink beverages that contain milk before bed to help you fall asleep.

* Make sure the room has good air circulation, leave the windows slightly open at night.

* Clean up the messy stuffs, like computer, TV, newspaper, or paper work from your bedroom. If you can’t remove it, cover it with cloth.

* Make sure the bed can support your body properly, and the bed is not too hard.

* Avoid talking about hard before bed, delay until the next day.

* If you can’t sleep, get up and move to another room. Try to sleep a few minutes later, or when you feel sleepy.
